The Benefits of Men’s Work

After over 8 years of focused men’s work, being a part of a mens group is now almost second nature to me. I don’t go more than two weeks without being held accountable, in some way, by highly trustable and fiercely insightful brothers. They show me where I’m unconscious and lovingly call me on my shit.

Last year, I took a huge leap and lead 12 men through a 7-month program. I first felt called to offer what had been given to me and once I launched, then felt the weight and responsibility to show up fully and create a rich and meaningful experience. It was both an act of service and a way to honor what I had received.

What transpired was more than I had ever hoped.

I watched as these men bonded, grew, supported each other, and thrived—all over Zoom. The depth, commitment, and evolution of this wholly virtual group left me humbled and in awe. The response from each and every man affirmed this— they fundamentally changed, refined their identity, and clarified their purpose.

I witnessed them turn their unrealized visions into reality.

They wrote books, songs, recorded albums, started businesses, and made films—all with joy and collaboration.

And… this work is not easy. There are no short cuts, no easy paths. You get called out, you get shook up, you face your addictions, fears, self-sabotage, anger, and selfishness. Not with judgment or shame but with respect for the person you’re meant to be.

The responses since we closed the container never cease to make my heart brim with love. To see them in relationships, jobs, and homes they had only dreamed of before is a tremendous gift. Their insides truly match their outsides.

I know clearly that this can’t just be a one off which is why I am preparing to launch year two this October.

If you or someone you know would benefit from a container like this, please connect with me to see if this program would be a good fit for you.
